A Tour of Shakespeare&8217;s Globe & Afternoon Tea for Two This experience day is a wonderful opportunity for Shakespeare fans to visit The Globe. - it was rebuilt the following year but subsequently demolished in 1644 by the Puritan Parliament who had issued an ordinance, suppressing all stage plays two years previously. The experience today takes visitors inside this piece of history, with a knowledgeable guide to talk about aspects of Shakespeare&8217;s life & works. The exhibition downstairs is also included so visitors can have a look before ending the day with afternoon tea in the brasserie.
