Prunus domestica ' Opal' An excellent early dessert plum, similar to Victoria but with better flavour. Medium-sized reddish-violet thin-skinned fruits with golden flesh & superb sweet flavour. One of the most reliable varieties. Can be grown in the north.    Pollination: Self-fertile. Group B. Season: early Aug. Tree Form: Cordon. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
