Better known for its red wines, the vineyards of Marsannay are also home to some excellent white wines such as this, made in a relatively bold style. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed directly into French oak barrels for fermentation & maturation totalling 14 months. Full-bodied & round for a white Burgundy, offering an abundance of fruit. The firm & citrussy acidity is tempered by the smooth oak influence & density of the fruit backbone. Pair with a succulent roast chicken & caramelised vegetables.
