About the Contract table The Contract table was originally designed for outdoor use but it works equally well as an indoor dining table, which is what the table mainly is being used for today. The table is simple & elegant & its multi-functional use is reflected in its design & construction. The table is very stable & its sleek appearence makes it possible to match the table with most style & furniture. History of Contract table Designed in 1958, this table was made for outdoor use in architecture patron J. Irwin Miller's house. The architects Eero Saarinen & Alexander Girard were responsible for designing the house while Charles Eames did the Aluminium Group chairs & this table.
