    special purchase model at
    a fantastic price. The
    special symmetrical
    sidecut is tailored
    especially for park &
    pipe, but with the
    addition of a little tip
    and tail rocker to help
    with transitions,
    especially when skiing
    switch. This is almost
    identical to the popular
    Volkl Step ski, but has
    had the core softened
    just a little to make it
    ideal for someone wanting
    to hone their switch ski
    skills, feeding into and
    out of tricks just a
    little easier with no
    loss of performance. That
    also makes this ideal for
    the lighter freestyle
    skier looking for a
    symmetrical ski. Being a
    Volkl, and with Tough
    Box Construction and a
    traditional sidewall,
    durability and edge hold
    is a given! Although
    optimised as a Park &
    Pipe Freestyle ski, the
    tip and tail rocker means
    that the Volkl Ledge 2011
    skis can be used in
    variable conditions
