Patron Gran Platinum starts in the exact same way as all tequilas being produced from the highest quality Weber blue agave plants grown in the highlands of Jalisco. For this particular tequila the agaves have to be hand selected in order to only get the higher sugar content agaves. The Gran Platinum is triple distilled & then rested in oak tanks for a short time, this makes the tequila extraordinarily smooth & full bodied. Every bottle is etched labelled & handcrafted from crystal that is led free, the piece of art is then hand polished, signed & numbered. Each bottle is the surrounded by velvet & packaged in an elegant black presentation case. The colour is crystal clear with an aroma of light fresh agave, citrus & fruit with a very faint oak wood. On the palate it is extremely smooth, sweet with light notes of citrus & fruit. The finish is long lasting & gently rests on the tongue with a hint of back pepper on the neck.
