Introduced in 1838, Chartreuse Yellow Liqueur is produced using 130 all natural ingredients in a secret blend to produce a lighter, sweeter & milder version of the classic elixir with a smooth, herbal taste. Chartreuse Yellow has a distinctive citrus, violet & honey flavour accented by hints of anise, liquorice & saffron that is made by macerating the herbs with a neutral alcohol spirit, distilled & aged for five years in oak casks.
