Hangar One is named after the distillery's rented space at the old Alameda Naval Air Station in California. The huge hangar sits on the edge of a disused runway (now a bird sanctuary) with panoramic views of the Bay Bridge & San Francisco. The colossal space houses an Arnold Holstein still. Mandarin Blossom is made with only the freshest Californian fruit & is bottled without the addition of sugar. Not using harsh filtration techniques is part of the distillery's ethos, so it is not unusual to find small residual solids in the drink.
