ASURO is developed at the German Centre for Air & Space Travel (soldering required) for an autonomous multi-sensor robot. In addition to six collision sensors & an optical unit for following a line, ASURO has two odometers & several display elements. The accompanying duplex infrared interface permits wireless programming, as well as a remote control with a PC via USB (Universal Serial Bus) The "brain" of the robot is a RISC processor. The programming is done in C.
