LOCATION The Coach House is in an elevated position overlooking the village of Hallsands & its shingle beach
- the South West Coastal Path runs alongside the property with a lovely walk to Start Point lighthouse Approx. 2 miles away. The Start Bay coastline is interspersed with long beaches & fishing villages many of which have cafes, shops & quaint country pubs. Hallsands is within easy reach of both Kingsbridge & Dartmouth & there are many beaches close by including Lannacombe, Mattiscombe, Blackpool Sands & East Portlemouth, from where a passenger ferry runs to Salcombe all year round.VIEWS Excellent sea views from all rooms with the first floor double bedroom in particular offering an uninterrupted view of the long curved beach & coastline. ENTRANCE From the beachside parking area the coastal path leads up to the property via a series of stone steps (c 40). The entrance door opens directly into the open-plan living accommodation at ground floor level. HALLWAY/DINING ROOM Within the entrance/hallway a dining area has a lovely round table & six wooden chairs. A small UTILITY CUPBOARD (under the stairs) houses a top-loading washing machine.KITCHEN/SITTING ROOM Two steps up into a galleried level kitchen with beautiful white gloss units, black granite worktops, electric oven, four-ring halogen hob, integrated fridge/freezer & dishwasher, & microwave. A tall & elegant glass-topped breakfast table has two stools. The cosy sitting area has two large leather sofas, widescreen TV, DVD player & radio/iPod dock. BEDROOMS Three in total. The ground floor master bedroom has a wooden framed double bed, matching bedside units & wardrobe/drawers, & iPod dock. The en suite has a large walk-in shower, w.c., wash-hand basin & heated towel rail. On the first floor are two further bedrooms, one of which has a wooden framed King-size bed, matching bedside units & wardrobe/drawers, chair & magnificent sea views. The third bedroom is a twin with two 3' single beds, matching bedside units & wardrobe/drawers, & iPod dock. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels supplied
- tenants need to bring beach & tea towels.BATHROOM In addition to the en suite (above) is a spacious & mostly tiled family bathroom at first floor level, with bath, rain head shower (over), w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point & light. OUTSIDE To the front of the property is a stone terrace with bench seating for two along with an additional wooden table & 4 chairs. Wooden steps lead up to an elevated rear terrace with picnic table & stunning sea views.PARKING Allocated space for one car at beachside level
- additional spaces usually available nearby.OTHER INFORMATION Beautiful oak flooring on the ground floor with carpet on stairs & in first floor bedrooms. Electric heating in all rooms with hot water via immersion. Strictly no smoking or pets permitted. Wireless broadband internet available.N.B.
