Whether you just like the occasional glass or you have developed a real passion for wine, you will all be guided through the wonderful world of wines a relaxed & informal manner by your enthusiastic & knowledgeable host. You will learn how to taste wine like the professionals do & about the intricacies of both red & white wines, such as how different climates, regions & grapes can affect the colour & flavour. After the day you can put your new found knowledge in practice to pick out some new wines from wine lists & aisles of your local supermarket. This is a real opportunity to appreciate wines in a comfortable setting & have some fun along the way! The format of the day varies & depending on the theme you will go into certain areas in greater depth, but generally you will:- be taught how to smell wines- be taught how to taste & describe a wine- be given 15 good quality wines to taste as part of a tutored tasting Depending on your chosen location, you will also be able enjoy a food & wine matching lunch.
