Summer Concert With A Picnic
have a night to remember as you enjoy a glorious summer's evening of fine music and entertainment complete with a delicious picnic and spectacular firework display. the concerts are set in the grounds of some of the uk's most historic and beautiful country houses or castles, creating a majestic environment in which to enjoy a superb evening of entertainment. a live, full orchestra will play superb popular classics and movie themes, alongside all the traditional flag-waving favourites associated with the "last night of the proms", such as rule britannia, 1812 overture, jerusalem and land of hope and glory. you'll also see breathtaking pyrotechnics, for example, cannons firing and napoleonic cavalry displays. many of the concerts also feature an aerial display by an original wwii
spitfire, as the orchestra performs rousing music such as the dambusters theme (check for details on booking). sit back for the grand finale and enjoy the spectacular fireworks. this is truly the perfect way to enjoy a magical summer's evening you will never forget! the contents of your picnic will vary but typically includes a selection of snacks for you both to enjoy.your picnic will be sent to you a week before the date of your concert. please contact us if you have not received it three days before the date of your experience. for safety reasons, please note that barbecues, garden flares and pets are not permitted. there is no seating at these concerts so please bring along rugs or garden chairs. the use of recording equipment is prohibited. please allow sufficient time to park your
