This experience entitles you both to entrance to Sudeley Castle & its grounds as well as a delightful afternoon tea. As part of the package you will also both receive a ticket granting you seasonal entrance so that youc an enjoy the venue time & time again. This history of Sudeley Castle & its award-winning gardens spans thousands of years & contains many varied tales of royal associations, wars & periods of neglect & subsequent restoration. Sudeley Castle was once home to Queen Katherine Parr, the last & surviving wife of King Henry VIII. Henry himself, Anne Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey, Queen Elizabeth I & Richard III have all played a part in Sudeley’s story. The 15th century west wing houses St Mary’s Church where Katherine Parr lies buried, the gardens, Pheasantry, medieval ruins & adventure playground are for you to explore & experience at your leisure. The castle has many fascinating exhibitions which explore the story of Sudeley’s history & the prominent characters that have visited or lived at the Castle. Sudeley’s glorious gardens are amongst the very best in Engl&, from the centrepiece Queens' Garden, billowing with hundreds of varieties of old fashioned roses, to the Herbal Healing Garden. Your afternoon tea is served within the castles Banqueting Hall which was previously the castle's stable & also the original kitchen. Your afternoon tea will consist of one pot of tea between two & a variety of sandwiches & cakes. Customers must present their voucher on arrival at the Visitor Centre. This will then be exchanged for the season tickets & a voucher for the afternoon tea for two to use on the same day. Your visit must be pre-booked otherwise you will not be able to gain entry. The season ticket is for the current season only, however custoemrs booking their expeirnce late in the season can choose to receive a ticket for the following year.
