One side of the cover is made from strong, durable material, which has a waterproof inner coating. The coating makes the material stronger, so that your dog’s claws don’t rip the bed, & it also protects the mattress from damp doggy fur. The other side of the bed is covered in snuggly soft microfleece. A TEFLON® coating makes the whole dog mattress easy to keep clean & protects it against dirt, so that it can be used both outdoors & indoors. For cleaning, use a damp cloth to wipe off any small marks on the cover. If the bed gets very dirty, you can unzip & remove the mattress & the border stuffing from the bed & then the cover can be washed in the machine on the delicate setting at 40°C & the border padding at 30°C.
