Does your dog respond to lots of situations by barking unnecessarily? The Petsafe Bark Control Collar helps you in training your dog by making your dog understand better when it should be quiet The control collar reacts to barking with a light innocuous electric shock and a beep to retrain your dog. Your dog will quickly start to associate this little irritation with its current behaviour and cease the undesired behaviour. Barking is registered by the vibrations in your dog´s throat by a sensor and it releases a harmless electronic pulse. This light pulse esclates on a 6-step scale according to your dog´s barking. Your dog also hears an annoying little beep. The sensor states active for up to 30 seconds after the final bark. Should your dog stay quiet during this time the system will
regulate this independently and start again from step 1 when your dog starts to bark again after the 30 seconds are over. The Petsafe Bark Control Collar is also waterproof and suitable for all dog breeds weighing over 3.5kg and over 6 months old. Please note This system is not intended as a punishment but rather as a tool for training and removing undesired behaviour. The electrostatic pulse is harmless and should serve as an irritating signal to your dog that we don´t want it to bark in certain situations. the sensor has to activate 15 or more times in a 50 second period it will automatically shut off for 3 minutes in order to avoid stressing out your pet.
