The specially-developed Baskerville Ultra Muzzle combines maximum safety & security with optimum comfort for your dog. It is made from high-quality plastic & is not only extremely robust & long-lasting but also flexible, with a pleasantly warm & soft feel. Your dog will be able to pant, drink & eat from your hand quite normally. The Baskerville Ultra Muzzle offers three different attachment options to ensure a secure hold & no slipping. A neck strap with pre-punched holes & a metal buckle ensure that the Baskerville Ultra Muzzle can be put on easily & closed behind the head. Under the chin there is a strap that means that you can attach it to your dog’s normal collar for extra security. There is also an optional additional security strap on top of the muzzle that can be secured with a carabiner hook behind the neck strap. For highest comfort, the Baskerville Ultra Muzzle is ergonomically shaped. The straps are made from softly padded neoprene on the chin & the sides. Please note: Wearing a muzzle should be a daily occurrence for your dog, rather than being used as a punishment. Ensure your dog gets used to the muzzle slowly & gently. Bitches or young dogs may require a smaller size. Please note: The muzzle must allow your dog to open its mouth so that it can pant. It should have 1cm clear from the end of the dog's nose. The breeds mentioned in the table are only recommendations since each dog has a unique snout shape which might differ from other dogs of the same breed. The Baskerville Ultra Muzzle is malleable & can be moulded to suit the shape of your dog's snout. In order to mould the muzzle, place it in water at approx. 70-80°C for 4-5 minutes, & then shape the muzzle. Important: Don't expect your dog to immediately take to the muzzle. It might take a few weeks for your dog to get used to wearing it. In the beginning just put the muzzle on for a few seconds. Then gradually increase the time you let your dog wear it. If you try to rush this familiarisation phase your dog might reject the muzzle completely & never get used to wearing it.
