How to choose a cat carrier: Choose a carrier based on your cat's adult size. The carrier should be high enough to allow the cat to stand up, & wide enough for it to lie down & turn around comfortably. Allow your pet some time to get used to being transported in the pet carrier. Gently accustom your pet to the carrier by simply allowing it to spend time inside with the door open. Once your pet is used to the box, you can close the door with your pet inside & leave it for a short while, & then gradually increase the time spent with the door closed. Try to take short test drives in the car at first before undertaking any long journeys. The carrier should never be used as a punishment but rather be seen by your pet as a safe, positive place.
