To reduce loose litter falling out of the sifting drawer, give it a couple of taps before pulling the drawer out. Place a small mat in front of the Litter Spinner to keep your cat's paws clean & to prevent it tracking litter around the home. If you notice any clumps attached to the inside of the drum, dislodge them with the included clump stick. When it is time for an intensive clean, remove the litter drawer & the black drain plug on the back of the drum. Tip all of the litter out & wash the drum.
