Pour some vinegar into a bowl, dilute with tap water & dip a cloth into the solution. Wipe the drive magnet with the damp cloth & carefully clean around it. It's highly important that all parts are properly cleaned out with tap water as vinegar & other cleaning substances can be harmful to animals. The pump should be cleaned min. every 4 weeks.
