What´s this? Cleaning the Fountain The water fountain should be cleaned once a week with a soft sponge & a mild soap. Make sure it properly rinsed off afterwards to avoid leaving traces of the soap behind. Remove the filter for the base section & rinse this. The filter should not be cleaned with soap. If the filter contains any dirt or other foreign substances it should be replaced. (Replacement filters are sold separately.) The filter should be replaced every three weeks or as soon as you see signs of other foreign substances on it (dirt bits of old food hairs etc). Filters may need to be changed on a more regular basis if the filter depending on the environment water quality or if it is serving several animals. Please see the attached instruction manual.
