Be sure to rinse carefully so that no soap residue remains. Cleaning the filter: Remove the filter from the bottom part and rinse it. Do not wash the
filter with soap. If the filter contains impurities or other foreign matter, replace it. (Replacement filters are sold separately.) Replace the filter every three to four weeks or as soon as signs of saturation with foreign matter (impurities, food residue, hair, etc.) become apparent. More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the home environment or water quality, as well as when used by multiple animals. Please refer to the operating instructions for this. Cleaning the pump: If you suspect the pump is dirty, open the pump and remove the impeller cover and impeller. Remove any dirt from the impeller and clean the impeller shaft with diligent water. Be careful when handling the impeller. If the pump causes noise, clean the pump as described above and fill the drinking
water reservoir with plenty of water so that the pump is completely submerged. The pump must not run dry!
