An introvert who has trouble making friends at school, Anna (Takatsuki Sara) is sent to live with her grandparents in Hokkaido by her adopted mother after a series of asthma attacks. While wandering around her new surroundings, Anna discovers an abandoned home standing in a marsh & a mysterious blonde girl living inside. Naturally curious, Anna eventually makes friends, for the first time in her life, with the blonde girl named Marnie.
