The ambitiously intriguing & stylistic film employs fresh visual & storytelling techniques to unravel the mystery surrounding a missing woman. Xiao Mei gathers a deep cast of award-winning Taiwan actors to play the eponymous protagonist & the different people possibly connected to her disappearance.
After moving from Taitung to Taipei for work, Xiao Mei (Cincin Jao) mysteriously disappears. Nine people who are connected to Xiao Mei her mother (Ke Shu Qin), her landlord (Chen Yi Wen), her ex-boyfriend (Wu Chien Ho), her current boyfriend (Liu Kuan Ting), her former boss (Ivy Yin), her stepbrother (Na Dow), her work manager (Laurence Chiu), a shaman (Chang Shao Huai) & a photographer (Chris Wu Kang Jen) offer different accounts & recollections that gradually piece together the troubled life of the missing young woman.
