Product Description

Winner of four awards at the 2013 Los Angeles Movie Awards, the Malaysian film Paper Moon uses the art of traditional kite-making, or "e;wau bulan, "e; to connect a love story across two generations. Directed by Stanley Law, the gentle & picturesque drama brings together the unique cast of Hong Kong stars Chrissie Chau & Gordon Lam & Malaysian singers Tedd Chan & Rynn Lim for a heartrending romance set in the eighties & the present day.

Traditional kitemaker Tian Song (Gordon Lam) runs a small workshop in a coastal village with his apprentice Xiao Dong (Rynn Lim). Tian Song can barely make ends meet but he refuses to switch to modern kites. He meets a bubbly tourist (Chrissie Chau), who reminds him of someone from the past. Over two decades ago, 18-year-old Tian Song (Tedd Chan) fell in love with a girl (Chrissie Chau) from a rich family. In each other, the two young lovers found hope, excitement & freedom. Defying parental objection, they eloped, but the difficulties of life soon caught up.
