Product Description

Written & directed by documentary filmmaker Lee Woo Yeol, the Korean indie Boy Director views the world from the eyes of a child with a camera & a mission. Set in a small, quiet village in the Taebaek Mountains, the film opens with young boy Sang Gu, played by Kim Young Chan from The 11th Mother, discovering that a building bearing a mural painted by his late father is going to be torn down to make way for a training institute. Unable to convince the adults to keep the mural, Sang Gu decides to capture the painting with a 8mm camera left to him by his father
- except he has no film & no idea how to use the camera. To find the answer, Sang Gu heads to Seoul on his own, leaving the task of protecting the mural to his friend Min Hee. Screened at the 2007 Puchon International Film Festival, this small & affecting feature surrounds its charming young hero with a familiar adult cast that
