A group of high school students take exam cheating to a whole new international level in Bad Genius, the biggest Thai film of 2017. Despite her modest family background, top student Lynn (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying) is able to transfer into an elite high school thanks to a scholarship offer. There she befriends ditzy but kind-hearted classmate Grace (Eisaya Hosuwan) & helps her cheat on exams. When Graces rich boyfriend Pat (James Supapunpinyo) finds out about it, he also wants in on the "e;tutoring"e; & hes willing to pay! Lynn develops a unique cheat code that she teaches to her growing customer base. However, Bank (Chanon Santinatornkul), another scholarship student, inadvertently busts the scheme & her chances for an overseas college scholarship. For Lynn, this means she will have to make even more money for tuition. Setting their sights higher, Lynn, Grace & Pat decide to find a way to cheat on the STIC an international standardized university exam administered at the same time in cities around the world & profit mightily from it. Recruiting Bank into the cheating coalition, they devise an ingenious high-stakes plan that will break countless rules & possibly their friendship.
