Lee Jun Ki is a fugitive hunted by both sides of the law in the 2013 MBC action thriller Two Weeks. From the writer of 49 Days & Prosecutor Princess, the tightly wrought, nail-biting series follows the beleaguered hero over two weeks time as he fights the odds to evade capture, clear his name & save his daughter. Kim So Yeon ( Iris) & Ryu Su Young ( My Princess) co-star as the prosecutor & detective, respectively, who are chasing after him to get to the bottom of a conspiracy, while Park Ha Sun ( Dong Yi) is the mother of his sick daughter.
Since getting out of prison, good-for-nothing gangster Jang Tae San (Lee Jun Ki) has been laying low & running a pawnshop. One day, his ex-girlfriend In Hye (Park Ha Sun) shows up with shocking news: he has a daughter & shes suffering from leukemia. In Hye wants nothing to do with Tae San anymore, but it turns out only his bone marrow can save their Soo Jin (Lee Chae Mi). With the date for the transplant set in two weeks, Soo Jin begins her pre-surgery conditioning treatment, a process that cannot be reversed. In this critical time, Tae San returns home to find a dead body. Framed for murder, he escapes from custody & begins a dangerous life on the run. Tae San must stay alive & healthy for at least two more weeks to save Soo Jin, but the police including In Hyes fiance, detective Im Seung Woo (Ryu Su Young) are after him, & the mob boss who framed him wants him dead at all costs.
