Based on Yoshimoto Bananas same-titled novel, Korean-Japanese film Memories of a Dead End illustrates a healing romance between Girls Generations Choi Soo Young ( Miss & Mrs. Cops) & Boys & Mens Tanaka Shunsuke ( Double Mints). Both singer-actors take their first silver-screen leading roles in director Choi Hyun Youngs feature debut, which also co-stars Ahn Bo Hyun ( Hiya), Bae Noo Ri ( Unstoppable), Dong Hyun Bae ( Part-Time Spy) & Hirata Kaoru ( Midnight Diner 2).

29-year-old civil servant Yumi (Choi Soo Young) shares a long-distance relationship with her fianc Tae Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun) who works in Japan. As he never visits Korea, she takes a trip to Nagoya to see him, only to find out that he is marrying his new girlfriend. Alone in a strange city, she blindly walks into a guesthouse named End Point & stays there for a couple of days. Yumi encounters various people, including guesthouse manager Nishiyama (Tanaka Shunsuke) who accompanies her & heals her broken heart.
