Almost a decade after Highway Star, director Kim Sang Chan assembles a group of weirdos & social misfits in his sophomore feature Karaoke Crazies. A bizarre yet entertaining blend of black comedy & moving drama, the mystery fantasy was invited to various film festivals including the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival, the 2016 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival & the 2017 Taipei Film Festival. Lee Moon Shik ( Miss Conspirator) stars as the owner of a karaoke bar that houses his eccentric assistants played by Bae So Eun ( Doctor) & Kim Na Mi ( Melo), as well as Bang Jun Hos ( Roman Holiday) deaf-mute man who lives unnoticed in a storeroom.

Porn addict Sung Wook (Lee Moon Shik) runs a karaoke bar called Addiction Karaoke. Ha Suk (Bae So Eun) is the first to join the karaoke club. The emotionless game enthusiast saves the bar from closing down by luring in customers with special services. Sung Wook later hires Na Ju (Kim Na Mi), who livens up the miserable place with her cheerful character. However, their peaceful lives are threatened by a serial killer who targets women in the entertainment industry.
