Set in the chaotic early-19th century China, Tai Chi 0 follows martial arts prodigy Yang Luchan (Yuan Xiaochao), a goofy young man born with a special gift that, when triggered, turns him temporarily into an invincible fighter. Unfortunately, that untamed superpower is lethal for Luchan, & to save his life, he is advised to go to the Chen village to learn their school of tai chi.
