Policeman Song Ki Yeol (Choi Yun Seok) is assigned to arrest socialist guerrilla Baek Gong San (Kim Hee Ra), but he fails to capture him. Held responsible for the escape, Ki Yeol loses his job & embarks on a lifelong journey of chasing after Gong San. Thirty years later, the two meet again. Now an ill old man, Ki Yeol vows to take revenge for what he has suffered over the years.
