In the 1960s, struggling aspiring director Kenji (Sakaguchi Kentaro) goes to the same cinema every evening to watch the same B&W film about tomboyish princess Miyuki (Ayase Haruka) & her adventures. One night, something miraculous happens. Miyuki appears before him in real life in black & white! From that day on, the two begin a strange new life together as Kenji introduces the monochromatic princess to the colorful real world. Over time, they gradually fall in love, but Miyuki has a secret that can make her disappear from Kenjis world.
