For the 20th anniversary of Troublesome Night, Herman Yau, Louis Koo, producer Nam Yim & series mainstay Helena Law return for the 20th installment, Always Be With You. Also co-starring Julian Cheung, Gordon Lam, Charmain Sheh & Charlene Choi, Always Be With You unfolds the strange & chilling encounters that befall the people connected to a deadly car accident.
While driving under the influence, David (Julian Cheung) loses control & veers into the next lane. Off-duty cop Sam (Louis Koo) & his wife Ah Si (Charmain Sheh) narrowly escape a collision, but another driver in the lane, Patrick (Alex Lam), is killed. Meanwhile, Xiao Hung (Ava Liu) seeks death after breaking up with her boyfriend. She leaps off a building & happens to land on the roof of Patricks car. Crematorium worker Zhi Qiang (Gordon Lam) steals jewelry from Xiao Hungs body in order to pay back his gambling debt, but afterwards people keep dying around him. Sam & Ah Si repeatedly try to throw away a vinyl record, but it somehow keeps returning to their home. Patricks fianc e Yu Yin (Charlene Choi) opens a vacation resort to fulfill his last wish, only to find that her resort is a popular place to die.
