Although he appeared in just six books by Beatrix Potter (the last published nearly a hundred years ago), this is one character that has endured the test of time. Indeed, he continues to be more popular today than ever! In 1904, Steiff produced an exquisite version of Peter Rabbit made in luxurious cotton velvet & stuffed with kapok & wood shavings.
