Product Description

The Bordeaux based Sichel family revived the fortunes of the pretty white lakeside Chateau d' Angludet. The combination of sand & gravel soils found in this area of southern Margaux are ideal to support both Cabernet Sauvignon & a high proportion of Merlot, which contributes a softness & supple texture to the wine. The wine is characterised by a perfumed bouquet of redcurrants & sandalwood, with complex flavours of sweet spice, mushroom & game, finishing with soft ripe tannins.
