The Stronghold N/W Chainring from Kore boasts some of the finest features available to give you superior riding performance thanks to its patented technologies. By this model's hooked design which grabs & holds your chain around the ring when riding without slowing down release at the appropriate point, this creates outstanding chain retention & also eliminates the need for a chain guide. When combined with a Kore Mega Range cassette sprocket adaptor sold separately, you can change your 2x 10 set-up into a 1x 10 set-up, which gives you a wide 1x 10 gear range & eliminates the need for a front derailleur, front shifter, cable & inner chainring. A benefit of this is the substantial weight saving on your bike & at a lower cost than a 1x 11 set-up.
