Race Face Ride AM Double Chainset with Bashguard: The Ride AM crankset perfectly fills the gap between Ride XC & Ride DH; Bike too big for superlight XC parts? Got a weight goal that doesnt allow heavy weight DH parts to be specd? This is the crankset for you. Extensive engineering & finite element analysis have been employed to maximize strength from this net-forged 6066 alloy crank while keeping weight as low as possible. Our patented I-lock Cr Mo steel inserts give this crank DH strength at the critical pedal interface. AM strength net-forged from 6066-T6 alloy crank arms with reinforced Cr Mo steel I-lock pedal inserts. Our middle-weight AM BB spindles are stronger than some of our competitors DH spindles. Proven OE assembly line friendly "EXI" spline interface ensures fast, simple installation & easy dealer serviceability using standard shop tools. Extended spline interface length on the fixed LH crank arm ensures long term durability & no loosening or creaking even from big hit riding. 3mm of chainline adjustability ensures the ability to achieve perfect drivetrain alignment even with difficult suspension frame designs & ideal for fine-tuning shifting chainguide set-ups. Only Race Face cranks offer this extremely useful feature. Offered in either a triple ring set-up with 7075 alloy 44T ring or Double ring with our new lightweight 7075 alloy bashguard. Bearings feature our new custom triple wiper seal to better retain grease & keep contaminants out. Bearings are factory filled with Phil Wood waterproof grease
