Fizik Cyrano R3 Road Handlebar: The Cyrano R3 is a high-end alloy handlebar, made from Ergal aluminium (7075-T6) this is both strong & lightweight. The same Spine Concept guidelines that helps you choose your saddle is used to find your most comfortable handlebar shape. The application of The Spine Concept to handlebar shape is the result of fizi:ks research with riders of 3 UCI World Tour Teams that were riding fizi:k saddles. A correlation was found between the saddle shape each rider was using & the handlebar shape they were riding. Just as your choice of fizi:k Spine Concept saddle shape is guided by your degree of spinal flexibility & subsequent pelvic rotation, fizi:k offers this same concept to find your most comfortable handlebar shape. The Snake Handlebar If you are very spinally flexible (far less than 90 degrees between your straight legs & your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders width apart), you are a Snake. You are better able to reach further & get down lower to use the full radius of more rounded, classic-style, deeper-drop handlebars. You will prefer the Snake Handlebar because it has a longer reach (85mm) & deeper, classic-style drop (140mm). The Chameleon Handlebar If you have an intermediate degree of spinal flexibility (approximately 90 degrees between your straight legs & your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders width apart), you are a chameleon. You are better able to reach further, but perhaps you cant get down quite as low on the handlebar drops as a Snake would be able to. You will prefer the Chameleon Handlebar because it has a longer reach (85mm) but a shallower, more ergonomic-style drop (135mm). The Bull Handlebar If you have a relatively low degree of spinal flexibility (more than 90 degrees between your straight legs & back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders width apart), you are a Bull. You will not be able to reach as far or bend as low as a Snake or a Chameleon would be able to. You will prefer the Bull Handlebar because it has a shorter reach (80mm) & a shallower, more ergonomic-style handlebar drop (130mm). Spine Concept guidelines to help you choose your most comfortable road handlebar shape Availble in three different drops & reach Snake: Reach 85mm, Drop 140mm Chameleon: Reach 85mm, Drop 135mm Bull: Reach 80mm, 130mm

The rail-friendly saddle clamp design allows for even dispersal of the clamping load whilst offering extensive fore-aft adjustment. This is done by using a top part of the clamp that is shorter than the base. The saddle clamp has a flat top with no screws protruding. This means there is no danger of reducing saddle comfort derived from a dynamic saddle base that might otherwise be restricted from moving. The post can be used back to front, releasing the adjuster wheel all the way. This allows the rider to be closer to their bars in triathlon or time trials. The round shaft is slightly ovalised, using thicker material fore & aft, thinner to each side. This optimal material distribution increases strength whilst keeping weight to a minimum. All seat post clamp parts are heat-treated for 3 times the industry standard, making them particularly durable & corrosion-resistant. ...
