All legwear in the Vaeon range uses 190g Ceylon Lycra fabric produced in Italy. This durable performance stretch fabric provides compression & breathability. The 80/20 Nylon/ Elastane composition gives the fabric a great h&-feel, & the high quality production ensures that the form-fit characteristic will last the test of time. This fabric is NOT brushed or fleeced (Roubaix) making it suitable for cool Autumn rides, where longs are preferable to shorts, & Roubaix is not necessary. This fabric is suited for Autumn UK conditions (12-18deg Celsius) depending on ride intensity). Waist tights are a great solution for commuters wishing to quickly change in & out of their gear. Waist tights also make loo stops more convenient
- avoiding the need to undress. Some cyclists will use waist tights as an additional layer over their base bib shorts to boost warmth & comfort.
