Gooseberries have been a firm favourite in Britain since the 19th century & the Gooseberry Invicta is no different. Praised for its taste when eaten fresh or cooked into desserts it is also very easy to grow & is tolerant of the UK’s ever changing climate. It is vigorous with substantial yields of large pale green berries. They are well suited for any size of garden & although slightly taller than the bush variety can be grown in pots containers or directly into the ground. It is great at attracting pollinating insects such as bees.
