Well suited to our English climate the Apricot Moorpark is one of the best apricot varieties for eating fresh off of the tree but also works extremely well when used for culinary purposes. The Moorpark will ripen towards the second half of August & can be picked over the course of around a week. The soft flesh of this apricot produces a very strong Apricot flavour & its skin is slightly paler that other varieties. It is a small tree that will produce beautiful light pink blossoms during the spring & will fit in any garden space.
