The Maris Peer Potato is a very popular second early variety of potato that produces firm white fleshed tubers. When cooking the Maris Peer they will hold their shape & will not break up or discolour so are great as new boiled steamed or mashed. This variety is favoured by both gardeners & chefs due to their superb light fresh flavour & the slightly scented violet flowers it produces. Expect heavy yields when they are ready to harvest from July.
