When the grid and internal funnel are removed the bottle gully acts as an accessible rodding point. Waste and rainwater pipes can be connected by cutting the grid and pushing the pipes down below the level of the grid. The gully has a 110mm push-fit socket which can be connected to either spigots from bends or underground drainage pipes. The spigot on the hopper allows up to 32mm height adjustment.
