Che Guevara & Alberto Granados journey through South America in 1952 on a Norton 500 motorcycle is one of the most famous motorcycle journeys of all time. Guevaras experiences on that journey led him to become a key figure of the Cuban Revolution & one of the greatest inspirational icons of the twentieth century. Steve Holmes & Pete Sandfords journey through South America in 2009 is arguably the least known motorcycle journey of all time but it took them on the same route through Argentina Chile Peru Colombia & Venezuela. Along the way the pair did battle with some of the most dangerous environments on the planet including the Atacama Desert (the driest place on Earth) & the mighty Amazon River. To make it just a bit tougher they made the trip on authentic period Nortons just like Ches. Ches motorcycle never completed the 5000 mile journey. Would Holmes & Sandfords 60-year-old bikes survive this epic trip? To infinity & beyond relates the dangerous & exciting adventure as they follow Ches route faithfully.
