The History Of Sheaffer

Back in 1912 in Fort Madison Iowa Walter A. Sheaffer took his grand idea of a pen-filling apparatus utilising a lever system & with his life savings founded the W. A. Sheaffer Company.

At the time the company occupied a somewhat-modest space; this was in fact the back room of Mr Sheaffer’s jewellery store. But Sheaffer had a much greater vision for the company.
