The topics covered in this series are specifically chosen to help children to develop a sense of 'awe & wonder'. They are topics that children & teachers love & now meet perfectly the need of a more creative curriculum. Each topic is closely keyed into the requirements of different subjects in the national curriculum to provide a cross-curricular project. The books can also be used to provide additional activities to topics & modules already established in a school to generate extra interest. Activities are provided for children aged from 5 to 11
- enabling teachers to find activities at a level suitable for all their children
- extending the more able & supporting the less able. This also means that the books are ideal for teachers who have to teach mixed aged classes & enables topics to be used throughout the whole key stage or school. Children of all ages are fascinated by the rainforest
