These very special pieces of art are stencils which have been hand cut, hand sprayed onto 12" Vinyl Records, mounted together on the reverse.   Produced & designed in-house in our studio in Leicester, UK. We use original, 12" vinyl records salvaged from collectors, car boots or second hand shops. (Don't worry, we do not harm any decent records in the making of these pieces of art!  

The process involves us slowly building up layers of paint, which are then sealed with a lacquer, making them fully waterproof, durable & enhancing the colours. On the rear, a wooden frame is attached to the Vinyl Record which lifts it off the wall about 1 1/2". The frame is lightweight, robust & ready to hang, with a slotted mirror plate on reverse so that it can drop onto a screw with no effort required. Hanging suggestion: They can also be used as a light shade, if a light is mounted behind it

As each of these beautiful pieces are hand produced made to order the Turnaround  is 5-10 working days.   We like to leave each layer to dry over night in our spray booth, as well as sealing it with a lacquer to protect it against the elements.   It may take a while, but as they say, All good things come to those who wait
