Sharing the lush growing conditions of its relative, Yirgacheffe, it confirms Ethiopias reputation as one of the finest coffee producers in the world. It is grown almost wild on the 128 small-holdings of the Hunda Oli Cooperative, nestling at high altitude in the shade of the forests of Agaro in Limu. Harvested from August to December, the beans are soaked overnight then washed again & left out to dry to achieve the perfect level of moisture. The result is a beautifully complex coffee that combines the superb fruit & floral tones of its environment with piquant lemon zest notes. With hints of citrus, apricots & honey mixed with delicately-perfumed bergamot, violets & jasmine, Ethiopia Hunda Oli is an irresistibly complex & refreshing drink for any time of day.
