The company was founded by the Aschermann family and soon became the best and the cheapest place to purchase tool supplies. The company launched their mail order service in 1932 and produced its first catalogue in 1933. The company continued to grow in the post war era and established itself as a one stop shop for high quality tools. Today Westfalia has distribution centres in four different countries and still produces a catalogue supplying high quality products to the general public and professionals alike. They created their online mail order service 10 years ago and continue to grow.
