The GMA90 is a booster set for water supply systems where space is at a premium. It incorporates a peripheral pump, with a frontal suction port, which has a 304 stainless steel pump body & impeller. The shaft is 410 stainless steel & is fitted with a silicon carbide mechanical seal. Elastomers are in Viton & the motor is rated at IP45. The pressure vessel has a 2 litre capacity for applications where buffering of the water supply is necessary. This vessel reduces pump on/off cycles, saves energy & protects the pump from water hammer, thus extending its service life. With 304 stainless steel connections, a high grade butyl bladder & a polypropylene liner, there is no water contact with the steel vessel creating an uncontaminated water path. Suitable for liquid temperatures up to 60ºC. Can be used for domestic water boosting & pressurised water supply of mobile toilets & shower blocks. The pressure switch is rated at 1.4 to 2.4 bar. Motors have aluminium motor housing & pressed steel or plastic fan covers. Single phase motors incorporate an overload protection device. These pumps should not be allowed to run dry, but by fitting an optional pressure controller, they can be protected from this & also start & stop it automatically. The GMVH-10 is a portable, high head, manual pump designed for clean water applications only. It is a multi-stage pump & is intended for domestic & industrial applications. The construction incorporates heavy duty bearings, a hard stainless steel (410) shaft fitted with an ultra-hard wearing silicon carbide mechanical seal (in a chamber of non-toxic oil) for durability. Corrosion resistant & hard wearing materials are used throughout with the motor housing, strainer & reinforced outlet in 304 stainless steel. The pump casing, head cover, base plate & impellers are all in thermoplastic. It has an integral starting capacitor & is available with or without a float switch. It is not recommended for operation against the closed valve of a tap or a nozzle. It is supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty rubber power cable. The maximum depth of submersion is 8 metres.
